Early Sunday morning we moved halfway across the country. It was a long drive. Here are the photos I took with my iPhone along the way.
I didn’t get a shot of us crossing into Pennsylvania, but only because I’ve been there enough times. It wasn’t a big deal really. Crossing into Ohio on the other hand, VERY big deal.

It seemed to take forever though. So I took another photo of the scenery. Lots of farms! It reminded me of my own farm on FarmVille. I will say this though, I got lots of new ideas for my farm to make it more realistic looking. I’m somewhat of a dork. I know.

Crossing into Indiana was really exciting. I wish we could have stopped to get a post card like we did in Ohio, but I just wanted to get home already. The driving was starting to get to us at this point.

I didn’t get a welcome to Illinois photo because by the time we got there the sun was coming down. The photo I took was so dark. I did get an ok shot of the sun setting though. At this point I couldn’t stop smiling.

Well, this is it for now. We have to get to the market before the sun goes down. Otherwise we won’t be able to see. It gets dark so fast. And because we’re so far out in the sticks, when it gets dark, it gets DARK. It’s kind of scary to tell you the truth.
I’ll blog again later!
Welcome to the midwest!
I’ve only been to Illinois once, but will be returning to Chicago for my birthday in April.
Congrats on the move!! Love the sunset picture so pretty!
Hey! You were driving across my part of the country. I live on the Ohio and Indiana border and that pretty much looks like what I see every single day. Kinda pretty, but gets boring!!!!!
Good luck on your move and new adventure in life! I’d love to pick up and leave this hole.
YAY so excited that we live in the same state now! This is such a great life change for you!
