I’d like to start off by saying that I really don’t like eating out of a package, box, can, etc. I’d much rather eat something homemade. Especially when it comes to dessert/snacks. But like I said, I’ve been super busy lately and haven’t had the time to do any type of cooking. I’m hoping this last week will be different. Maybe I’ll be able to do a little something special. I really am trying though. Maybe not as hard as some of the other VeganMoFoers, but I’m still trying.

Anyway, it’s about that time of the year where you see pumpkin everything. There’s a certain restaurant chain pushing their crappy pumpkin muffins and a few other places doing something similar. As a vegan I really don’t feel bad about it because with a little looking around I can always find something equally cool and usually much better. Like these vegan pumpkin doughnut holes which I got from Whole Foods. They don’t taste so good right out of the container, but after being warmed up a bit they taste great with a cup of hot coffee or tea. Whenever I have a doughnut craving, but don’t feel like making them, I usually buy the carrot doughnut holes. They’re pretty good and definitely satisfy my craving.

I’ll end on this note: I love me some doughnuts (no fat girl jokes please). I have a dream of opening up my own vegan doughnut/coffee shop one day. It’s been a dream of mine for quite some time. Actually, I have wanted to open my own coffee shop way before going vegan. When I went vegan I didn’t give up on my dream. I just changed things up a little. Maybe one day I can make that dream a reality. If not I can at least dream, can’t I?

I think that sounds like a fab dream!!

Sounds like a great dream and if you really want it and it’s meant to be, it will happen.
:)

OH MY GOD. I am so jealous right now. Those look amazing.

Thanks, guys! They were so good with my coffee! Yum!
